I don’t know what it’s like in other parts of the
world but here in the UK single guys are on a hiding to nothing.
Responses to adds generate the usual “tell us about
yourself and send a pic”. So a bit of dialogue ensues
then ….. nothing they just drop off the planet. Now I know
I’m no oil painting but I’m clean, smart, intelligent
and most of all - genuine; but it seems that it makes no difference
to the people I’ve responded to.
As far as I can see, why bother advertising and getting the
ball rolling to just forget about the courtesy aspect.
I can take rejection and all it takes is a quick note to say
“on second thoughts we don’t think we’d
be compatible, best of luck in your searches”. But
instead all that happens is complete silence even when
a polite enquiry follow-up mail is sent.
If people don’t want to meet up and all they want to do
is waste everyones time - then find another site!
Life’s too short to piss about like this.
Just a few thoughts that express how I feel about these sort
of folks.
Maybe I should look abroad for some like minded folks or
one of the sweet Asian ladies that are looking for a partner.
