No excuses here for the person who broke your heart, but
I can shed light on why he or she is insensitive to your love.
Do you agree that the only people who know how to express
love are those who have seen love expressed as they grew
up? Do you also agree that what our children are going to
learn about love will come from watching us their parents
day by day? If you agree then you will also agree with me that
the culprit behind some people’s insensitivity to
love is their parents who never took time to show them love,
to express love to them or to each other in front of them as
they grew up.
If the person has loving parents then the reason he or she
is insensitive to your love might be because along the line
he or she has been broken hearted by love before you came
along and the heart is permanently scarred by the experience
and he or she is making you pay for that person who once broke
his or her heart. Very unfair, isn’t it, but who said
all was fair in love and war? If you have been betrayed by
love for no valid reason, let me just say on behalf of all
the people who are insensitive to love because of a loveless
upbringing or a heart scarred by love lost, I am very sorry,
honestly I am.
