my ambitious wife
I am 40 years old Bank officer, and my wife is 33. We have married
for 10 years and have two daughters. She is beautiful, intelligent
and very ambitious lady. She completed her study after
marriage and got the job in the same institute. Last year
I got transferred to other town about 200miles from my city.
Since my wife is working and daughters are studying in the
good school, I did not shift the family and living alone
there. I use to come home on weekends. Recently my wife also
got promoted as H.O.D. and we threw the party for our colleagues,
friends and well wishers. As the chairman institute came,
we went to receive him. He shook my hand and hugged my wife
while giving her a bouquet. While I was moving to look after
the comforts of the guests she was taking care of the chairman.
I just heard some body envied to my wife saying, “ see how
she got the promotion at this young age?” but I neglected
because it always happens. But in the very next week, when
I found birth control tablets in her purse, I believe that
she might have chosen some wrong way to get the promotion.
Because, I have already operated for family planning after
the birth of my second child. But speaking on this subject
may reflect in the family atmosphere. I am thinking to get
transferred to some long distance branch and ask her to
leave the job for the family. Will this be the solution?
